1. Overview

Welcome to Swim Lessons Vancouver! By booking a lesson, submitting a form, or participating in our programs, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These terms ensure a smooth, safe, and professional experience for both clients and instructors.

2. Lesson Requests & Confirmation

All bookings are considered lesson requests until confirmed by our team.
Once we verify instructor availability and your pool location, you’ll receive a confirmation email with a payment link.

To secure your booking:

- Payment must be completed within 24 hours of receiving your confirmation.

- If payment is not received, your request will automatically be cancelled.

3. Pool Requirements

All lessons are held exclusively at private residential or building pools within the Greater Vancouver area.

To book a lesson, you must:

- Have access to a private pool (residential, condo, or building amenity).

- Provide the full address and any access codes or entry instructions.

We do not offer lessons at public pools, community centers, or shared facilities.

Clients are responsible for ensuring the pool is clean, safe, and accessible at the time of the lesson.

4. Instructor Availability

We match each client with an instructor based on:

- Location and travel distance

- Age and skill level

- Lesson type and instructor preference

Instructor availability may vary, and we reserve the right to reschedule or reassign instructors when necessary.

5. Payment Policy

All payments are processed securely via Stripe.

- Lessons must be paid in full before they are confirmed.

- Package purchases (5 or 10 lessons) must be used within 6 months from the purchase date.

- Prices are subject to change without notice; however, confirmed bookings will be honored at the agreed rate.

6. Cancellation & Rescheduling

We understand that schedules change!

To cancel or reschedule:

- Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice before your scheduled lesson.

- Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the lesson will result in a full lesson charge.

- Instructors may reschedule lessons in case of illness, unsafe weather, or pool conditions.

Repeated last-minute cancellations may result in loss of booking privileges.

7. Weather & Safety Policy

Safety is our top priority.
Lessons may be paused, shortened, or rescheduled in cases of:

- Thunderstorms, lightning, or extreme weather

- Unsafe pool conditions

- Instructor safety concerns

If a lesson is cancelled due to weather or safety, it will be rescheduled at no additional cost.

8. Refund Policy

- Single lessons: Non-refundable once confirmed and paid.

- Packages: Unused lessons may be credited toward future bookings if cancelled with proper notice.

- No refunds for missed or unattended lessons.

9. Liability & Safety Waiver

By participating in swim lessons, you acknowledge and accept that water activities carry inherent risks.
Swim Lessons Vancouver and its instructors are not responsible for injury, illness, property damage, or other incidents that may occur during lessons.

Parents or guardians must remain nearby during lessons for children under 12 years old.

10. Photography & Media

We do not take or share photos/videos without your explicit written consent.
You may opt out of all photography or media use at any time.

11. Communication

By submitting a booking request or contacting us, you consent to receiving lesson updates and reminders by email, text message, or phone call.
You can opt out of promotional messages at any time.

12. Code of Conduct

We aim to create a respectful and professional learning environment.
We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue services in cases of unsafe behavior, harassment, or repeated no-shows.

13. Policy Updates

These terms may be updated periodically to reflect operational changes or regulatory requirements.
The latest version will always be available on our website and will apply to all future bookings.
